Liberty Flags of our Fathers--The Bonnie Blue Flag

Most Southern patriots are familiar with the Bonne Blue Flag and the song that goes along with it. For a long time I had a Bonnie Blue Flag flying at my house.

The history of that flag goes all the way back to the early 1800s all the way back to when Spain and France had a disagreement as to whether West Florida was included in the area each country claimed. When Thomas Jefferson made the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 he sort of inherited the debate. The inhabitants of West Florida were mostly people that spoke English and they were not real happy with either France or Spain, neither of which could deal with them in English.

A revolt took place in West Florida in 1803, led by the three Kemper Brothers. And while it was not successful, it told the Spanish they had better start taking the English-speaking folks in West Florida a bit more seriously. So Spain started dribbling out a few more liberties to them. A second revolt ensued in 1810, led by a Major Isaac Johnson He led a march to the capital in Baton Rouge, which was captured in late September of that year. A new flag was then raised over the fort there, which consisted of a single white star on a field of dark  blue. Shortly afterward a Declaration of Independence was passed and the Republic of West Florida came into being. The same flag was then adopted as their national flag.

The Republic was rather short-lived. In late October U. S. President James Madison proclaimed that West Florida was, in reality, part of the Louisiana Territory. The U. S. flag was then raised over the fort, but, by this juncture, the  image of the Bonnie Blue Flag had burned itself into the memories of  the Southern folks in that area as a symbol of liberty.

When the Republic of Texas came into being a similar flag was adopted, with Texas still being known as the Lone Star State. And in January of 1861, when Mississippi seceded from the Union and established the Republic of Mississippi, another blue flag with a single star was raised in Jackson.

In the audience at that event in Jackson was an Irish actor named Harry McCarthy. He was inspired to compose lyrics pertaining to the flag and he set them to a tune from where he was born. He called his turn The Bonnie Blue Flag. 

Some say this became the first flag of The Confederate States, but there is some debate over that. Whether it was accurate or not, the Bonnie Blue became, at least, an unofficial Confederate flag and still is today. The lyrics of McCarthy's tune are still enough, even today, to stir the hearts of Southern patriots. If you want to see or hear the words of the song just go on the net and type in Lyrics for the Bonnie Blue Flag into a search engine. You will probably find several different videos or sets of lyrics for the tune.

Lest We Forget

It has been forty four years ago this month, if my timeline is correct, that government (public) schools reopened in Kanawha County, West Virginia to a very slim group of students. Most of the students were kept at home by parents who had major (and understandable) problems with the textbooks their kids were supposed to use that year and they were not about to subject their kids to what many of  them felt were pornographic texts.

I've seen copies of what was in some of the books. The parents were right.

This whole situation set off a major struggle over who really controlled what  passes for public education in this country--and just to give you a subtle hint--it ain't the parents. Even with Trump's new education secretary, it still ain't the  parents. A public school system run by the state will never be under the control of the parents, no matter what you may hear at the parent-teacher meetings.

A public school system is a state school system and our parents, especially our Christian parents, need to be able to get a grasp of this salient fact. Most of them don't have a clue.

As for much of went on  in West Virginia during this textbook protest, I would urge you to read a book by Karl Priest called Protester Voices--the 1974 Textbook Tea Party.  I believe it's still on Amazon, but if you can't find it there contact me and I will give you Karl's mailing address.

The textbook protest in Kanawha County changed the lives of myself and my family because, even though we lived in Illinois when it started, we ended up in West Virginia while it continued.

The whole situation never would have come to light had not Alice Moore been on the school board.It was her that exposed what was in the books. The other school board members were willing to just go along to get along with the texts that were "suggested" for the students. Mrs. Moore, when she got a look at what was being proposed to feed the kids intellectually, was not. She was on target--the rest of the school board was "out to lunch" so to speak, willing to go along to get along.

Mrs. Moore exposed what was in the books to Kanawha County parents with the help of several local preachers and rallies were held all over the county to alert people to the intellectual swamp that was the  public school system. So when public schools convened in the Fall of 1974, most kids stayed home. Not only that, parents started picketing the schools and that meant lots of  people, truck drivers included, would not cross the picket lines. West Virginia was a union state and you didn't cross a picket line.

Parents wrote to their state legislators, their national legislators, and whoever they thought would  help them get these horrible books out of their schools. No one was willing to do anything. No one did anything. What the parents didn't realize at the time, and I hope they do now, is that  no one was going to do anything--ever!

The sleaze-books their kids were to be force-fed were mandated in Washington and that was that. When parents publicly protested they were often met by "peace officers" with billy clubs who enjoyed breaking up the protests by hitting little old ladies (and others) over the shoulder with billy clubs and if they could hit hard enough they often broke the shoulder. They got their kicks doing that. Some were heard to say as much.

Word of the protest eventually got out despite the managed media's attempts to contain it locally. That's how we found out about it in Illinois. There was an article in one of the Chicago papers that really bashed the protesters and it was bad enough that I started watching for more articles with names in them and when I  found some I started trying to contact those people to find out what really was going on because, even at that early date, I realized the "news" media mostly lied to us.

We took a trip to West Virginia in June of 1975 and stayed with a fine Christian family there for a week. During that time I interviewed some of the protest leaders and really got an earful. Hard to believe that some of what I heard happens in Amerika, but it did--and does.

The parents in Kanawha County were guilty--of wanting  a  decent, moral education for their kids. Little did they realize at the time they would never, and I mean never, get that in the public school system. And today it's even worse.

The Deep State of that day (not much different than today's) managed to beat the protest (literally) into submission. Several new Christian schools came out of the protest, but if more Christians had gotten involved instead of sitting it out, the effect could have been greater.

So the textbook protest in West Virginia ended, not with a whimper, but with a billy club whacked over old ladies shoulders. I saw some of them, heard what they had to say about it all. The public schools in West Virginia and other  places, are no different today than then except they are busier taking down Confederate flags than they used  to be.

If you are one of those whose hope is in the "reformation" of public schools you are dreaming a dream that will never happen, no matter what kind of administration they have in Washington. The educational establishment is dedicated to the cultural destruction of your children and you'd better get used to that idea because that's how it is. If you want anything better for your kids, take them and secede from the public "education" system and educate them at home or find some kind of Christian school you can trust. Ongoing "Reconstruction"

I have an email friend who is a fellow Copperhead. Like me, he was born in the bleak atmosphere of a New England that was affected by the cold chill of Unitarianism. It affected where he lived as it affected where I lived. Probably neither of us recognized that at the time, but we both realized in our innermost beings that something there wasn't quite right.

He moved from Northern New England down to West Virginia, where he seems quite content. We moved all over the place, depending on circumstances, ending up in Illinois several years ago, and from there we came to North Louisiana. Knowing our concern for their heritage and history, the good Southern folks accepted us and we have been more comfortable in the South than we had been anywhere else (except when I lived in Oklahoma briefly during the late 1960s).

Anyway, this friend, like me, studies history and keeps a weather eye on the political scene. Just recently he emailed me with some observations. He noted that, after looking at history, he had concluded that the "Civil War" never really ended--and it sure didn't end when Lee walked out of the courthouse at Appomattox. Technically it didn't end then--it limped along for a little more than  another two months. But even for that, it didn't really "end." You see, the War of Northern Aggression (which it what it really was), was a culture war. It's main agenda was the total destruction of Southern culture, history, and heritage, and that all didn't end when the fighting ceased and so the War had to continue But they had to cover that fact up and so they ceased to call it a war and they renamed it--they started calling it Reconstruction. This was his take on it and I have to admit, I can't really disagree with him. I'd figured out the same thing awhile back. 

It had always amazed me that "reconstruction" was Karl Marx's term. He had called for "the reconstruction of s social world" in regard to changing the worldview of the South. His Radical Abolitionist friends in the North seized on his terminology (as a possible hidden tribute to him) when they gave a name to what they planned to do to the South.

Over the years, I have contended that "reconstruction" never really ended and instead  the Establishment, Shadow Government, or whatever you want to call them, has just continued it under a varied collage of different titles--affirmative action, global warming, no child left behind, or whatever other noble-sounding fiction they thought would befuddle the public at large. My Copperhead friend had concluded the same thing. Interestingly enough, he and I had come up with our conclusions totally independently of one another. Each of us looked at the evidence we had been able to amass--and we came up with the same conclusion as the other.

Reminds me of a situation several years ago now, back when I started digging up evidence for Lincoln being in love with the Marxists and socialists. I had put together quite a bit of evidence on Lincoln's affinity for the Left and published some of it in a couple articles when I got an email from a man in North Carolina indicating that he had found the same thing. He shared his sources with me and it turned out a lot of them were not the same sources I had used, but they were just as authoritative.

This goes to show you that there are a lot of people out there quietly doing the homework and connecting the dots and much of what they find ends up on blog spots and websites. I don't think most people realize how many blog spots there are out there, but there are thousands of them and lots and lots of them come from a patriotic, American perspective. The Deep State may be trying to censor conservative viewpoints and they may be trying to shut down some of the bigger patriotic websites and they may succeed to a degree. If such does happen, then many  people who are aware of some of these more obscure sites will start checking out the "second string" of sites where they can get their news. The days of the  "big 3" in the prostitute press controlling all the news are over. Millions of people nowadays realize the Main Stream Media is pure hogwash and they constantly search out the alternate media for their news--and part of the alternate media is these thousands upon thousands of blog spots--and I don't think the Deep State can shut them all down no matter how much they'd love to.

There are lots of us out here digging up the stuff the establishment media would rather have buried and the Marxist "historians" have kept under wraps for years. They can't hide it all anymore, and that fact will eventually be their undoing.

It's Always the Leftists That Promote Wars--Civil or Otherwise. That seems to be what most of the current internet conversation is saying nowadays. In spite of all their blather about "peace and love" the Leftists are really nothing but cultural Marxist war mongers.

They seek to promote candidates and ideas that will absolutely devastate this country and then they threaten "civil war" if the rest of us refuse to go along with their damnfoolishness.

So now we have this "individual" Maxine Waters out there trying to encourage people to "push back" against all Trump supporters or those that hold office in  his administration. Have any of you all ever listened to one of Ms. Waters' rants? To say that she sounds a bit unhinged would be charitable. You have to wonder who wound her up and stuck her in the middle of the action. She is obviously a pawn  in someone's game.

The question maybe we should all be asking is---who's best interest in served  if the rabid Left winds up instigating a civil war? Someone's interests are being served if the Loony Left manages to do this. Is it the Deep State, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the Illuminati or who? But then I repeat myself, because all of these groups are part of the "good ol' boy" network that has a vested interest in sucking the life blood out of this country.

If you look back at our first "Civil War"  you will find out that the minions of the Left were pushing all the hot buttons to get us into that. They didn't have smarts enough to do it on their own so you know someone had to be writing the script for them.

Read Donnie Kennedy's and my book Lincoln's Marxists and that will give you some idea of the part the Left, both political and theological, played in getting that going. The real war mongers in the North had to get the South to fire the first shot because that gave them a "moral" reason to invade the South.

For instance, the Illuminati has always felt that if you want to change the society and culture of a country one of the best ways to do that is to get them into a war--on their own soil. In the 1850s they used pawns like terrorist John Brown to work the country up to where we were ready for a war and in 1861 they made sure we got it. It was the perfect vehicle to destroy the society and culture of the Old South, which, due to its Christian base, was an impediment to their agenda for the whole country.

It seems that today we are about to get a repeat performance. Trump's agenda and worldview are diametrically opposed to the Illuminist/CFR agenda and so they again drag out the Sorry Left to try to work us all up into yet another war.

You all know that as long as the Left badgers the rest of us nothing will happen, but let someone somewhere on our side fight back and see how fast the Deep State will try to institute martial law and make a grab for all the guns. You can see this scenario coming. Only problem is, I don't think they are going to get all the guns and there's lots of really fed up and ticked off folks on our side. I don't think they realize just how many. They would do well to think about that.

Monopoly Capitalists & Communists Are Second Cousins

The prevailing (and partly false) theory is that capitalism and communism are totally adverse one to another and that capitalists will always be opposed to communists and vice versa.

In most cases you will find that most free enterprise capitalists are opposed to communism and leftism in general. However, monopoly capitalists are a different animal and their worldview is much closer to that of communism than it is to true free enterprise. Your “history” books don’t much deal with this because you are not supposed to be aware of it and many of your teachers and professors will take great pains to make sure you do not become aware of it. It’s what they get paid for.

I don’t know if you can still get this book or not—the copy I have was printed  in 1974. It is by Antony C. Sutton (now deceased) who was a research fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University from  1968-73. The book is Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution. 

Sutton noted, on page 17, that:”Consequently, one barrier to mature understanding of recent history  is the notion that all capitalists are the bitter and unswerving enemies of all Marxists and socialists. This erroneous idea originated with Karl Marx and was undoubtedly useful to his purposes. In fact, the idea is nonsense. There has been a continuing, albeit  concealed,  alliance between  international political capitalists and international revolutionary socialists—to their mutual benefit. This alliance has gone unobserved largely because historians—with a few notable exceptions—have an unconscious Marxian bias and are thus locked into the impossibility of any such alliance existing.  The open-minded reader should bear two clues in mind: monopoly capitalists are the bitter enemies of laissez-faire entrepreneurs; and, given the weakness of socialist central planning, the totalitarian socialist state is a perfect captive market for monopoly capitalists., if an alliance can be made with the socialist powerbrokers.”

Quoted by Sutton is oil magnate E. H. Doheny, in 1919, where he talks about what went on at college campuses, and mind you, this was in 1919, not during the Viet Nam War.

Doheny said, in part, “…you will see that a majority of the college professors in the United States are teaching socialism and Bolshevism…The worst Bolshevists in the United States are not only college professors, of whom President Wilson is one,  but capitalists and the wives of capitalists and neither seem to know what they are talking about.

Sutton sums all this up on page 19 where he says: “Our story postulates a partnership  between international monopoly capitalism and international revolutionary socialism for their mutual benefit. And on page 21 Sutton gives us a key quote from Leon Trotsky where Trotsky says, in 1938: “You will have a revolution, a terrible revolution. What course it takes will depend much on what Mr. Rockefeller tells Mr. Hague to do. Mr. Rockefeller is a symbol of the American Ruling class and Mr. Hague is a symbol of its political tools.” Sounds just like today, doesn’t it? You will discover, as you go along, that certain capitalists in this country continually fund and finance Leftist causes.

In his book The Naked Capitalist  W. Cleon Skousen noted a comment made by Dr. Bella Dodd, a former member of the National Committee of the U. S. Communist Party where Dodd said: “I think the Communist conspiracy is merely a branch of a much bigger conspiracy.” Dodd, as a Communist, had wondered where her orders came from. After World War 2 she had contacts that, basically, gave her marching orders. And Skousen noted that: “What  puzzled Dr. Dodd was the fact that not one of these three contacts was a Russian. Nor were any of them Communists. In fact, all three were extremely wealthy American capitalists!” Skousen’s book was privately printed in 1970. See if you can find it on Amazon. Skousen goes into an organization called The Council on Foreign Relations. Some of you have no doubt heard of this. Others may not have. You need to be aware of this group because they affect how this country is governed and who gets appointed or chosen to  specific positions that will, whether you believe it or not, will affect all of our lives.

Another one you should check out, and I believe it has been posted  on the internet, is  The Rockefeller File by Gary Allen. If you want to know how the Deep State operated in the late 1970s you need to read this one. Some things haven’t changed much.

More as the Lord allows, but this will give you a start. Check out The Rockefeller File and an earlier one by Gary Allen, None Dare Call It Conspiracy  on the internet. That way you can read them for nothing and begin to learn about what you have been taught to believe doesn’t exist. It does exist and you need to wake  up to it, for your childrens’ sake.

The Obama Coup Against Trump

Over the whole of this past weekend and the previous week I have been watching all the seemingly weird developments having to do with Comrade Obama's (as well as his bosses behind him) attempt to remove Donald Trump from the presidency. To say that this is a highly organized and planned coup is to put it mildly. Obama never really wanted to relinquish the presidency. He fondly wished (had his puppet masters allowed it) to continue on as president so he could complete the task of culturally and socially dismantling the country--the fond dream of all cultural Marxists in America. His puppet masters, for reasons of their own, didn't allow that, much to his chagrin. But they did the next best thing.  They set him up so he could conduct a "guerrilla presidency" less than two miles from the White House, with over 30,000 "volunteers" across the country, to carry out whatever mayhem he directed them to.

This is not something that he thought up on his own. It was all planned well ahead of the election in case Hillary was not able to bring that off. When she couldn't, they swung into action and they have continued every day since. Trump will "tear down their meat house" of One World Government and they can't afford to let that happen. In typical cultural Marxist fashion they have to get rid of him--and they will use any method it takes.

So here comes the next stage of the game. The vote recounts didn't do it so we move on to this. Now it comes out that Trump was wiretapped  while the presidential campaign was in progress, which Obama claims is totally false, but Hillary admits it. Honestly now, who can believe anything this man says? When it comes to prevarication, he and Slick Willie fight for first place, no matter what the definition of "is" is.

According to www.eheadlines.com The Gateway Pundit "reported earlier that the first FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) request came right after AG Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton on the tarmac at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in June of 2016." And remember, this was a "chance" meeting to discuss photos of their grandchildren! No collusion here. These honest souls wouldn't even think of it! Hillary later tweeted: "Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump organization to a Russian-based bank." Evidence? Who needs evidence? Isn't Hillary's word enough? And the article, written by Kristie McDonald, was headlined: So Hillary Knew About the Trump Wiretap--Tweeted About it One Week Prior to Election.

Ms. McDonald wrote yet another short article about this on March 5th in which she said: "'This is Spying,' Conservative radio host Mark Levin made the case that former President Obama and his operatives have actively worked to spy on and undermine President Donald Trump and his administration. Levin spoke to ';Fox & Friends' on Sunday and used liberal news sources to essentially prove that the Obama administration was behind spying on President Trump and others in his campaign during the election season. Newt Gingrich also weighed in on the accusations. 'Smells to high heavens'." As much as I hate to agree with Newt Gingrich (the penultimate One Worlder) about much of anything, his comments in this one instance were pretty accurate. Makes you wonder what he's up to!

Not only are they trying to bring Trump down, but also all the people in his inner circle, so that there will be no one left to help him in defending himself from whatever cock and bull story the Leftists dream up and the prostitute press promotes. Michael Flynn is already gone and now they are attacking Jeff Sessions. Will Steve Bannon be next?

An article on http://www.wnd.com by Greg Corombos on March 5th observed: "A former U.S. Justice Department official says the liberal outrage over Attorney General Jeff Sessions having contact with the Russian ambassador during the 2016 campaign is much ado about nothing and Democrats are doing whatever they can to thwart the Trump agenda...Former Justice Department official Hans von Spakovsky told WND and Radio America the controversy is way overblown...He said the Democrats are still in shock over losing the election and are lashing out in every possible direction." He said "They did not want Jeff Sessions to become attorney general because he's a conservative, rule-of-law type of guy. They're seizing on this, even though there's nothing really to it when you dig down into it, because they want to oppose anything the attorney general might do, such as actually start enforcing our immigration laws. That's the real goal here." And we all realize that you can't water our culture down even more if you can't get those illegals in here by the thousands. American cultural adulteration is a big part of the game here.American culture has to go. Christianity and Western civilization have to go--and we need to understand this!

Some of Trump's advisors are calling for a purge of those Obama appointees that are infesting the federal government. That sounds like a capital idea and they need to get started immediately, if not sooner, on that project. They could name it Operation Boot Obama Clones. You can't expect the people that Obama appointed will do anything except continue their loyalty to their Marxist-in Chief, while opposing and hindering every effort Trump makes to help the American people.

Realize this--Obama and his minions (as well as those who fund them) don't want things to improve for the American public and so they will do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening. They are, after all, cultural Marxists, and they are bent on our destruction as a people and a culture. That's their agenda--and Obama's too.

Those confused folk who would love Obama to get a third term don't get it. Unfortunately, they have mush for brains because they don't realize yet, if they ever will,  that Obama hates their guts every bit as much as he hates the rest of us. He and those who hire him and his "volunteers" are trying to overthrow a legitimately elected government. There used to be jail sentences handed out for that kind of thing. Anymore, who knows??? 

Update:  An article on www.lewrockwell.com   for Monday, March 6th has stated the situation very clearly. It was written by Joachim Hagopian, a West Point graduate and former U.S. Army officer. He said: "The United States federal government in Washington is under attack today. Our nation's capital is presently under siege, not from military bombs or rockets fired by any foreign enemy but from powerful means within. With Obama-Hillary-Soros ostensibly maneuvering outside official government channels, against America's legitimately elected President Trump, and their loyalist foot soldiers--loyalists within the CIA/NSA/FBI still operating inside deep state, criminally conspiring...with Mainstream Media, this sinister alliance is also organizing legions of clueless young Leftist protesters to be at the ready for deployment in the streets to wreak havoc violently rioting as paid insurgents." What Mr. Hagopian is describing here, what is going on at this moment, is civil war and the clueless public probably won't wake up to that until it is all over and the Deep State wins--and then they will howl and moan "why didn't someone tell us?" The Lord gave us one more chance with Trump--and most are sleeping through it. They may well end up being the most rested people in the concentration camps!

Our two political commentators have been watching all these media people that have howled about leaving the country if Trump was elected president. They have a couple questions for the folks doing the howling which I think are fair questions. Just don't hold your breath waiting for answers.

One thing we have noticed since just before the recent presidential election is the amazing number of Hollywood  "personalities" that claimed that if Donald Trump was elected president they were moving to another country. It sounded so dramatic when you all said it that we have wondered, since the election is now over and Mr. Trump won, just how many of you have left? We have seen nothing in the "news" media anywhere about any of you having departed the scene, and our intrepid "news" media would definitely have taken note of any of you that left for parts unknown, just to give you credit for fulfilling your threat.

That being the case, the question arises--Why are you all still here? Why have you not booked passage for one of the socialist utopias you all profess to love so much and that you claim are so much better than this country with Trump as president?

We are left with the conclusion that you never really intended to leave to start with--that your braggadocio was just your painless way of expressing your contempt for Mr. Trump because, in your narrow perception, you viewed him as some sort of a "right-winger" and you wanted to issue a political statement that sounded good but really didn't cost you anything. In other words, to put it politely you are a bunch of frauds! But, then, from the political and cultural Left,  we would expect nothing else. Bombast and fraud! 

You have the good life here and don't really plan on giving it up and moving to someplace less comfortable no matter the pompous statements you issue to the contrary. No wonder some of you do so well in the movies. You are all just actors playing parts--on the screen or off.

So it seems that the vast majority of you, instead of buying plane tickets to Hanoi or Peking, have decided to stay here and content yourselves with issuing incendiary statements.

We have heard about comments from Gloria Steinham, the supposed Women's Rights advocate and Abortion Promoter, along with Exhibitionist   "Madonna" and so-called performer of  "Burlesque-like" performances, both of which have degraded decency in this country, all in the name of women's choice. Madonna uttered, among other remarks, some about "blowing up the White House. The comments of these people are among the more bizarre and ridiculous uncivil statements of many entertainers.

Well, here are our thoughts about such low class and Un-Christian  behavior. We think it's a good idea to Boycott them and all those with similar attitudes. Let's see what would happen if conservatives and Christians (and their friends) completely boycott all of their movies, videos, recordings and performances to the fullest extent. Actually these people and their lowbrow, nearly pornographic behaviors play right into the hands of those Muslims who are offended by their displays of indecency and may even contribute to the inexcusable and outright flagrant public group raping of women "in the name of Allah, and ridiculous Jihad and Sharia-like rights." 

And this is not just hearsay. It has been happening all over the world, due to basic indecency and immodesty, which is part of the reason Muslims claim to have no respect for Americans, especially women.

Furthermore, the utter stupidity of most American TV "sitcoms" make people all around the world think that ALL Americans are "stupid fools" just like those they see on American networkds. There is some programming out there that required intelligence, but such programs are few and far between.

There are rumors that a Trump administration might be considering slashing federal funding to entities like National Public Radio and others that take federal funds. That might not be a bad idea, because it is a known fact that "he who pays the piper calls the tune." That might be a big step in getting the federal government out of the propaganda business.

There is also information out there on several websites about the Chinese Communists buying up movie studios in Hollywood. So Who Is Advising Trump To Soften Up?

I have to admit, that unless Mr. Trump changes the direction he is starting to go in it is going to look to a lot of his supporters as if he is in the process of selling out to the Ruling Establishment he told us all he despised. I have to wonder who is working to move him in this direction. I also have to wonder who is giving him the advice he seems to be taking, whereby he is being "nice" to those that tried to stab him in the back and, in the process, forgetting his pledge to "drain the swamp." It seems he is hanging around with a whole bunch of the folks that filled up the swamp to begin with and his association with them will be a major preventative factor in the swamp being drained. I'd hate to think that all that talk was just talk. I thought better of him than that.

He is touting Mitt Romney, one of the instigators of the "Never Trump" movement for his Secretary of State. If ever anyone had "One World Government" credentials it is Mitt Romney. The only other hanger on in the Trump camp that could outdo Romney there is Newt Gingrich and now I am beginning to what what political plus Mr. Gingrich is waiting to be awarded. Pastor Chuck Baldwin recently stated in an article on http://www.lewrockwell.com  that Newt Gingrich "...is the quintessential insider, globalist,  and establishment hack."

Mr. Trump just nominated Nikki Haley, the South Carolina turncoat governor as his UN ambassador. That move ain't going over real well in the deep South where Ms. Haley was responsible for starting last year's cultural genocide campaign against all things Confederate. I wouldn't appoint this lady as dog catcher. I'm afraid she's try to "Yankeeize" my dog.

Trump made a good appointment with Jess Sessions and I have no problem with Stephen Bannon. His former association with Breitbart would indicate that he has knowledge of the world situation. I don't know enough about this lady he just tapped for the Education Department except that she is supposed to be in favor of charter schools and education vouchers to let parents send their kids to whatever schools they want, religious or otherwise. But I do question that if Christian parents go that route, how long will it be before the feds start telling them what they can teach their kids because, after all, the feds are helping to fund their education? Better if Christian parents would just reject the vouchers.

When we home schooled our kids it was a sacrifice and we were always short of money and we did get scholarship help on several occasions, but never from the feds! The idea of taking federal money did not occur to us at any point. Having seen what the feds did, indirectly, to textbook protesters in West Virginia, the thought of tainted, controlling federal bucks to help educate our kids was anathema to us.

And as long as I am analyzing what Mr. Trump is doing, I might as well put my two cents in regarding his new position on the Clintons. He told us in one of the presidential debates that if he were president Hillary would be in jail. So what happened to change his mind? Now he's telling us that he doesn't want to hurt the Clintons because "they are good people." He's got to be kidding, right? The Clintons would cut his throat for a quarter any day of the week and hand him the change and if he lives in the real world he has to know that. So what's all this "they are good people" stuff? He's starting to sound like a politician--God forbid!

The people that voted for Trump voted for him because they were sick and tired of the corruption and the public getting shafted by the Establishment and Trump sounded like that's what he was all about. What happens if the public finds out they've been shafted yet again?

It's beginning to sound like if Mr. Trump is going to "drain the swamp" he will probably end up doing it a thimble-full at a time--the same principle as someone dumping a cupful of water in the Gulf of Mexico to raise the water level.

Pastor Chuck Baldwin has urged Trump supporters that they cannot go to sleep, that they need to hold his feet to the fire on those promises he made. If his candidacy awakened the electorate, they need to stay awake and alert and watch what he does just like they would watch what any other candidate did. Pastor Baldwin said: "I tell you, again: this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change the course of a nation. Frankly, if this opportunity is squandered, there likely will not be another one in most of our lifetimes." This is sound advice and we better heed it because the lives and culture we help to preserve will be our grandchildren's.  

Update! According to a World News Daily article I just read it seems that the Republican Establishment has conned Mr. Trump into taking the position that climate change may now be a "man-made" issue, therefore their agenda and that of the other socialists on this issue will be preserved in a Trump administration. Bit by bit we see Mr. Trump backing off the issues he campaigned on and going the route the Establishment wants him to. SOMEONE HAS GOTTEN TO HIM  and is in the process of neutralizing what he claimed he wanted to do.

Welcome to (almost) "Free Mississippi"

Welcome to (almost, but not quite) free Mississippi, where your state flag is not welcome on college campuses and where you can be threatened with arrest if you dare to carry it on campus. The folks that run many of these colleges and universities, not only in Mississippi but in other parts of the country as well are cultural Marxists, which means, in plain language that they are often the "nice" Marxists. They won't cut your throat but they will try to steal your kids' heritage from them. And if they happen to work at a state college then you are paying them to do this with your tax money. Comforting thought isn't it?

So the state flag is no longer welcome at Ole Miss and other places in Mississippi as well. But the people that run many of these centers of "education" would be more than willing to have Communist flags on campus, or flags representing the black liberation movement or the transgender movement. This, they believe, would demonstrate their penchant for "diversity" or multi-culturalism or whatever they are calling their particular brand of prejudice nowadays. I'm sure that when folks start to catch on they will change the names again.

I remember, years ago now, a school I knew about on the East Coast (the original Left Coast) brought in an identified Communist to teach the kids committed to their charge how to do "community organizing." When a local pastor called them on that they told him "We like to expose our students to all different viewpoints." Of course having someone from the John Birch Society in to lecture the students would never, and I mean never, have occurred to them. They wanted to be diverse but not THAT diverse!

Same situation in Mississippi. The educational elders in many of these schools welcome diversity, as long as it is a diversity from the left. The right is not worth mentioning--and they don't, anymore than they are forced to except to scream about how those on the right are all "racist, sexist, homophobes, Islamaphobes, and "deplorables." Sound familiar? The erstwhile candidate that is running (maybe not as fast as she used to) on the Democratic ticket could have taken her speech about us deplorables from most any college president in the country. But it gives you a really good view of what these folks thinks of us ordinary folks, and it ain't much, but then you already knew that.

So the kids at the University of Mississippi are free to go to the football games as long as they don't take their state flag in with them or as long as they don't bring in a sign requesting that the band play Dixie. The kids could walk in with almost anything else and it wouldn't be nearly as reprehensible as these two items. You have to know that your world has really been turned upside down when your state flag is banned on campus. The Communist Hammer & Sickle would be welcomed but the Mississippi state flag is not. If you are paying attention at all this has to tell you something, and if you're not paying attention then maybe you should be.

Lots of kids showed up with Mississippi state flags for last Saturday's football game at the University of Mississippi--and had them confiscated by campus police. According to an article on http://dailycaller.com "Students who had their flags taken away by police--along with signs declaring 'Let The Band Play Dixie'--said they were threatened with arrest if they did not give them up." So at the University of Mississippi you can be arrested for displaying your state flag. I tell you, folks, that's real progress, a sign of true "liberty" but for who? Certainly not for ordinary Mississippians. How long will it be before flying your state flag on your own property will be forbidden? Don't laugh--it's not as far fetched as it sounds. And if the folks in Mississippi don't stand up and resist this damn-foolishness it may well come to that.

I noted one positive event at the university's football game last week--a whole batch of students got together and unfurled a 20' by 30' Mississippi state flag in the student section. Someone sent me a photo of it on Facebook and it had to have caught someone's attention as big as it was, but it also showed that those students who held it up there for everyone to see must still have had some pride in and thankfulness for their state flag and its heritage. I don't know if the police eventually confiscated this one or if someone managed to sneak it out wrapped in their jacket or not but it was good to see the picture. It showed that, at some level, not quite all the students had bought into this cultural Marxism that is so cloyingly present on so many campuses, even in the South. With the Lord's help and guidance there may yet be hope, but the battle is far from over and far from won. And those who want to preserve their heritage, faith, and culture need to learn to "keep the skeer on" because you can bet our adversaries plan on doing that.

Flag Sickness Among the Politically Correct

On September 10th there was a Confederate flag rally at the state capitol in Jackson, Mississippi to garner signatures  for Initiative 58, which is a worthwhile effort to keep Mississippi's State Flag as it is and to deny the cultural Marxists, in the future, the chance to tinker around with it until they remake it into some ghastly leftist perversion that no one could even look at before breakfast.

Interestingly enough just a few days before that, on September 8th I think, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit that would have declared the Confederate emblem on the state flag as "an unconstitutional relic of slavery."

The suit had been filed by Grenada, Mississippi lawyer Carlos Moore who  stated that the state's flag literally made him ill. The judge, although sympathetic to Moore, was at least honest enough to dismiss his plea. The judge stated: "Moore's arguments are phrased as constitutional claims, yet his allegations of physical injuries suggest that he is making an emotional distress tort claim.  To succeed in constitutional litigation, however, Moore needs to identify that part of the Constitution which guarantees a legal right to be free from anxiety at State displays of historical racism. There is none." Although I have no doubt someone will now introduce one somewhere down the line.

This has now become a tactic of the cultural Marxists in Mississippi and elsewhere. "Confederate flags not only offend me but they make me physically ill, so you need to take them down so I don't keep getting sick from seeing them." If it were not so pitiful it would be ludicrous. So now everyone is supposed to haul their Confederate flag in because just the sight of one makes the cultural Marxists deathly sick. How long will it be before the sight of the Stars and Stripes also makes them sick?

This is  a ploy with the cultural Marxists to destroy your culture in stages and most folks still don't get it.
In South Carolina they complained about the Confederate Flag on the flagpole at the state house years ago and they finally, with the finagling of some state legislators, got it removed and put up in a different spot at the state house, lower down so not as many people would be forced to view it. Less cultural Marxist illness that way I guess. It wasn't long before they were complaining about the new location for the flag. Too many people could still see it! But it was a location they had agreed to, but now the flag was still too prominent and they continued to grouse about it until the shooting of those black folks in the church in Charleston, at which point their turncoat governor did what they had wanted all along and took it down completely. Her name should be mud in South Carolina politics. There are still questions about that shooting and the "spontaneous" outburst all across the country to get rid of Confederate flags and monuments. Some of us feel that maybe it wasn't all quite as "spontaneous" as it was made out to be. However, now that the flag is down in South Carolina all the cultural Marxists in that state should be in grand health--until the next item on their agenda comes along.

So now this Mississippi lawyer wants the State Flag down because it makes him "sick."  And he's also afraid of the emotional damage it will cause his daughter when she sees it flying at the public school she attends. All I can say is that these black cultural Marxists today must be a pretty fragile group! Their ancestors seem to have handled things a lot better than they do. All they have to do nowadays is see something or hear something they don't like and instantly they become physically and/or emotionally ill and whatever they have decided they don't like is supposed to be removed immediately if not sooner. Sorry folks, I hate to burst your Marxist bubble, but it ain't always gonna work that way. You better get used to that. Somewhere along the way when you want a flag or something taken down because you claim it "offends" you someone is going to say "no, it's part of my heritage and culture and I'm not taking it down because you don't like it." So you will just have to learn to live with lots of stuff you don't like just the same as the rest of us do. That's the real world! Of course you can always appeal to weak-kneed politicians to pass laws that give you what you want, but at some point they won't be there and someone who will stand up for principle just might be. What will you do them--try to tear down and steal the Confederate Flag you don't like in your neighborhood and possibly risk getting shot doing it? I can just hear your defense in court now--"He's a racist because he wouldn't let me tear down his Confederate Flag because I didn't like it. It made me sick."

That old saw is going to wear real thin with juries after awhile.

To the cultural Marxists out there I will say this--you may accomplish a lot of what you want but you will never get all of what you want. There is a core of Southern and Confederate patriotic folks out there who will not give in to your  ludicrous Marxist demands for them to dismantle their culture to make you happy.
In fact some I have seen lately have become increasingly ticked off at your demands that they trash their heritage to keep you happy and I doubt that some will be pushed much further. I realize, being what you are--cultural Marxists--you won't quit--but then neither will some of them. Just something for you to think about.

Southern Baptist Convention To Vote Next Week On Resolution To Condemn Confederate Battle Flag

That was the headline on the article that a friend sent me just this morning (June 10th). The Southern Baptist Convention is the second largest denomination in the country, right behind the Roman Catholics.

My friend, who is Baptist, is urging all those that are Southern Baptists to contact their ministers and tell them to oppose this resolution. My friend stated that this resolution is: "straight from the NAACP handbook." I don't doubt him for a minute. He has had past experience dealing with the NAACP and realizes that trying to talk reasonably with them is an exercise in futility. They have a cultural Marxist agenda and being reasonable with those whose culture they are trying to destroy is not part of that agenda.

This resolution to have the Southern Baptists condemn the Confederate battle flag has been couched in terminology that is supposed to promote "inclusiveness and healing." Anyone who has read any of these "resolutions" before knows what a farce that is and that racial healing is the absolute last thing all of this promotes--and it was never intended to. That's basically cultural Marxist language for the church to cave in and give into the desires of a small minority of dedicated leftists. This has nothing whatever to do with the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and with what the church is supposed to be doing.

This sort of thing has been done before in other smaller denominations where leftist radicals try to get churches to condemn a part of their heritage and to completely omit the use of words like "Confederation" because they are deemed too "hurtful" to offended parties. Once the flags or offending terms are done away with the "offended" parties move on to other churches to promote the same cultural Marxist shell game somewhere else. Sadly, most Christians never seem to get it!

So I pray that our Baptist brethren will make a point of contacting their ministers now and tell them to oppose this--as the meeting where this is to be done will be held on June 14-15. Let's hope that enough people will do this that it will make a difference.

Let the Boys Into the Girl's Bathrooms in Public Schools--Or Else!!!

This if for all those who thought they had seen everything. Guess what folks, you ain't seen nothin' yet! There was an "interesting" article on http://conservativefiringline.com for May 13th (Friday the 13th) about Comrade Obama ordering public schools to let the boys into the girls' bathrooms. I mean, why not? Don't their "civil rights" entitle them to that, and vice-versa? All you "civil rights" advocates have helped to bring us here. Is this what you really wanted? Maybe it is, who knows?

The Conservative Firing  Line article, written by Joe Newby, states that: "On Thursday, news broke that the Obama regime is ordering schools nationwide to let students use whichever bathroom that corresponds to whatever gender they think they might be at that moment in time, essentially saying that schools must let boys use the girls restroom." Our all-inclusive Attorney General has said: "There is no room in our schools for discrimination of any kind, including discrimination against transgender students on the basis of their sex." And the article notes that keeping boys out of the girls restrooms just might lead to schools losing their federal funding.

Governor Abbott of Texas says that Obama is not a dictator and he says he will fight the edict. I hope he is able to, but after all the talking is done, let's wait and see what happens and check that out against what has been said. The governor of North Carolina is fighting this same battle and I wish him well, too. However, again, in spite of all the rhetoric, lets take a brief look at a couple things.

No matter how you want to slice the bread or cut the mustard, public schools ARE Government Schools. You can't really get away from that. You may have parent teacher groups that give the illusion of parental involvement and you may even elect your local school board members, yet with all this cleverly-packaged window dressing, in the final analysis these are still government schools. Why else do you have a federal Department of Education? Folks, begin to get it through your heads--these schools do not belong to you or to the local community--they belong to the government, and as long as the government is paying for them, even though they soak you for part of the price via your property taxes, they will get to decide what these schools do or don't do and how they do or don't do it. Simple as that! Local control of public schools is a myth--always has been and always will be, except now with some of what's going on the myth is getting a little more difficult to peddle, but they're still working at it and they are still fooling too many people.

If some conservative school district here in the South decides they don't want to play this game the will lose their federal funding. The only way to fight this is for local (and I use that word carefully) school districts all across the country, hundreds of them, to flat out refuse to comply and for them to start withholding whatever money they have been sending to Washington to help pay for local kids "education." And in all reality, you know that isn't going to happen because when push comes to shove, you will find that many of those you have elected to school boards nationwide have the same worldview as the One World Government people in Washington. They just didn't bother to tell you that when they ran for office. If you want a perfect example of how this works take a look back at the school board in Kanawha County, West Virginia in the mid-1970s when all the rotten textbooks were being implemented in public schools there. How well did that school board reflect the real concerns of parents? One member of that board, Alice Moore, did. She had a genuine concern about what they were feeding the kids that passed for "education" and she did her best to fight against it. She was a minority of one! But you have to give her credit. She did try.

To take this a step further, once Obama's multi-sexual worldview on bathrooms in public schools is fully implemented, how many Christians will remove their children from those schools in protest over this? The governors of Texas and North Carolina have vowed to fight Obama on this and I do wish them well. They will be in need of our prayers because the feds will try to slice them up and have them for supper. Again, how many Christians will be willing to remove their kids from public schools over this? Admittedly, some can't given their family situations. But what about those who can if they are willing to make a little sacrifice for their kids' well being, both physically and emotionally? How many will make that move and do it? Let's just say that it'd be nice to have a dollar for everyone that just won't be bothered.

And if Obama manages to pull this off, might he even dare to take it a step further? Might there possibly be a federal thrust in the direction of Christian churches? Is it just possible that churches that are not willing to go along with multi-sex bathrooms in their buildings might be denied their 501c3 tax exemptions unless they are willing to knuckle under and comply? If the feds can withhold federal funding for public schools then why can't they play the same game with churches and start denying them their 501c3 tax breaks if they will not legitimize the transgender lifestyle? You think that sounds far out? Don't kid yourself. He who pays the piper plays the tune.

The present federal agenda calls for the dismantling of any residual Christian morality left in this country, particularly in the South. This is what Obama's "fundamental transformation" was and is really all about. Now it's up to us, our churches, and our States to decide how we are going to respond to all this.

Taking a Picture of a Confederate Flag Gets You Suspended From Your Public School For Two Days

One of the major places where our next generation is being conditioned to accept the premises of cultural Marxism is the public school campus--and this holds true especially in the South.

An article I read just recently on http://freedomoutpost.com noted that the Ridgeview Middle School, which is part of the Round Rock Independent School District (that's in Texas, folks) has suspended seven students for what they feel is a horrendous crime, almost too terrible to mention. They took pictures of a Confederate flag, some of them selfies--at school no less. Folks, this has to be the crime of the century! Why every public school administrator in the state of Texas should go into immediate shock at the commission of a criminal act of such gigantic proportions. How dare they! This is simply beyond the pale. These students have just gone too far. Should prison sentences be meted out???

Andrew Birdwell, father of one of the students was slightly ticked off. He said the school had no right to suspend his son for two days and that he and his son deserve an apology from the school. But Mr. Birdwell, you just don't understand! You son had his picture taken with a CONFEDERATE FLAG! Do you understand the magnitude of such a crime? Obviously not or you wouldn't be asking for a well-deserved apology. And by the way, don't hold your breath waiting for one!

The school district released a statement, according to the Freedom Outpost article, that said there "were a series of incidents at school involving a group of students posing with a Confederate flag and speaking 'hateful language.' The district would not comment any further..." It's probably a good thing for them they didn't. Turns out that school officials had to admit that Birdwell's son didn't say anything hateful. He and the other students were currently learning "whatever version of Civil War history that school decides to teach its students." I thought that was an astute observation by Freedom Outpost. Seems that they might recognize that "whatever version of Civil War history" is being taught may not be altogether accurate.

The Freedom Outpost article duly noted Mr. Birdwell's reaction. He said "I called up there yesterday asking for a copy of the disciplinary action and (the principal's) was to me that the boys were holding up a Confederate flag and that is a sign of slavery." Really? Who taught the principal that? Did he learn it in teachers' college? Who says it's a sign of slavery--Al Sharpton, Je$$e Jackson, the kids' "history" textbook? Who? The article concluded with this thought: "What do you think these kids will learn from this event?" Interesting question. What will they learn?  What will the other kids in their class learn?  What will they all learn from their school principal?

They'll learn that Confederate flags can get you in trouble, so you are best to avoid them, no matter what they are all about. That's the cultural Marxist "history" lesson that's being taught here.

And what lesson should Anthony Birdwell learn from this "experience?"  He should learn that there is no freedom of thought or expression at public schools and that if his son shows any streak of independence of thought in coming years he will always be in trouble for thinking outside of the cultural Marxist box. Such is not permitted, and those that do will pay the price. Act or think differently from the rest of the sheeple and you will pay the price. I speak from experience.

Cultural Marxism, as practiced in public schools limits your field of thought and endeavor to those areas pre-approved by the cultural Marxist worldview. If you slip those traces you will have problems. He should also learn that, since this is the case, his son would be much better off in a private educational setting where state approved attitudes are not the only thing tolerated and where students can ask honest questions and get honest answers rather than politically correct dogma such as "the Confederate flag is a flag of slavery." No one who has done any real history homework honestly believes that, but if you repeat a lie often enough most folks who won't bother doing the homework will just unthinkingly grab onto it and rattle it off as gospel truth, which it ain't! Doing the homework should be encouraged. This is why Christian and home schooling efforts should be promoted.

If you really want to learn the truth about Confederate history you won't get it in public school, unless you happen to be one of the fortunate few to run across a dedicated history teacher who has been there so long that he has tenure and they can't get rid of him so they have to leave him alone. But you can bet the farm that after he's gone no more real history will be taught there and the person that replaces him will be into "social studies" rather than history.

We in the South (and other places as well) must begin to learn that our history and heritage will not be preserved for the next generation by sending our kids to public schools. That is a lesson for all of us. Let us pray God that enough will learn it to make a difference.

Now--Culturally Marxist Currency!

Right after he was awarded the presidency of this country Obama said that he was going to "fundamentally transform" the United States. People could only guess what he meant by that, but those that knew anything of Obama's real background had deep suspicions that whatever he was going to do, it wasn't going to be good. Their suspicions have been more than justified. His transformation agenda (the agenda of his handlers) has been at work transforming the culture of this country. In fact, you could say that American culture has been emotionally and physically assaulted under "his" regime.

Now he and his handlers will further assault the culture by changing the design of the country's currency. You all have read by now about the new design of the twenty dollar bill and other bills that will be undergoing the Obamaite "transformation." The new currency designs to be foisted off on the public in the near future are living proof that the cultural Marxists will literally push their agenda in every area of our lives in an attempt to convert the sleeping public into accepting their pernicious theology.

A main "cornerstone"  of their theology is an abolitionism morphing into a "civil rights" movement. And it's all part of Karl Marx's "reconstruction of a social world" that Donnie Kennedy and I took note of in our book Lincoln's Marxists. 

Our august Secretary of the Treasury has dutifully informed us that the picture of Andy Jackson on our twenty dollar fiat currency bills will soon be replaced with a simply glowing portrait of Harriet Tubman, one of the movers and shakers in the "underground railway" before the War of Northern Aggression.

The Underground Railway, we have been told, was a system of "safe houses" from places in the South leading all the way up through the Northern states and into Canada. Supposedly friendly Southern abolitionists helped the escaping slaves to go north where a friendly, virtuous Northern population awaited their arrival with open arms. They teach some of this in many of the country's public school "history" texts.

Suffice it to say that "it ain't quite so." Writer Michael B. Chesson is a professor of history at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and he specializes  in the history of the American "Civil War." He wrote an authoritative article for The Textbook League which appeared in their newsletter, Volume 12, Number One. Check out http://www.textbookleague.org  Professor Chesson noted several history books that promote this line about the Underground Railway and he noted the inaccuracies in all this regarding Harriet Tubman.

Suffice it to say there are culture-changing reasons why Ms Tubman is about to replace Andy Jackson on the twenty. Andy Jackson is not politically correct (culturally Marxist) and Ms. Tubman is. But they are going to keep Alexander Hamilton on the ten dollar bill. He is politically correct as the promoter of the first national bank, so the feds don't really want to remove him.

But even for that, they plan on making some changes to the ten spot, and to the five dollar bill as well, although I don't expect they will remove from the five dollar bill the portrait of the president who was a favorite of the Marxists and socialists.

The Treasury Secretary, Jack Lew, has said, in part: "The new $10 bill will honor the story and the heroes of the women's suffrage movement against the backdrop of the Treasury Building...The new $10 design will depict that historic march and honor Lucretia Mott, Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Alice Paul for their contributions to the suffrage movement.?

It's interesting that Mr. Lew neglected to mention the connections of Susan B. Anthony, Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton with the Spiritualist Movement during the latter part of the nineteenth century. If you can find a copy of the book Radical Spirits  by Ann Braude that will give you some insight into the Spiritualist Movement and its connections with the "women's rights" movement. The early feminist movement was riddled with Spiritualism. This is something else the "history" books have mostly forgotten to mention.

After neglecting to mention all that, Mr. Lew moved on to inform us that the new five dollar bill, in addition to keeping the portrait of the Marxist's favorite president, "will depict the historic events that have occurred at the Lincoln Memorial." Lew noted that, in 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave us his "I have a dream" speech at the Lincoln Memorial. Lew noted that, on the back of the five dollar bill, they will start featuring leaders of the civil rights movement. That should be interesting. I wonder which ones they will pick--they can't go too far in hardly any direction without bumping into someone with Communist connections, not that this would bother them, as long as the public at large can be kept in total ignorance about it. With our current public education system that should be no problem.

So we have finally gotten to the point where all the culturally Marxist leftist aberrations will now be commemorated as healthy and normal on our currency. Former history will be erased  and some of the prize agendas of the cultural Marxist Movement will be enshrined on the currency, complete with anti-counterfeit strips. What more could you ask for?

I just wonder what they will end up doing with the one dollar bill. After all, George Washington WAS a slave owner. Maybe, they can find some way to get someone like Pol Pot, the great Cambodian "liberator" onto the one dollar bill. Undoubtedly he would be quite acceptable to the cultural Marxist crowd and they could then get rid of that picture of that nasty old Southern slave owner. After all, we have had presidential candidates whose citizenship in this country has not been beyond question, so why not a known Communist on the one dollar bill? Our currency (notice I have not called it money) has become a major propaganda tool for the One World government crowd. Unfortunately, most people probably will not even notice. Unfortunately, their children and grandchildren will--and the knowledge won't be positive.

Ahh, Those Refugees--Just let them all in, right? Wrong!

Supposedly, the Syrian "refugee crisis" has gotten to the point where hundreds of thousands of refugees are now fleeing the country (you wonder if there;s anyone left there) and those that can't find a comfortable home in Europe must all be admitted to the US in the name of love and humanity.  The current regime in Sodom on the Potomac says so and so the beneficent (to Muslims) dictator in the White House wants to start moving as many of them as possible into our various states. A couple state governors welcome this. Several do not. When several state governors have complained about this the "president" has blithely informed them that he can basically put aliens and foreigners where he wants them and the state governors don't have diddly to say about it. I tell you, folks, that's real "democracy" in action, and I'm not kidding. That's how democracy works--it always ends up in dictatorship of some form.

But not to worry--the officials in Sodom, er, sorry, I meant Washington, have informed us that all refugees will be thoroughly vetted and so we will only get the cream of the crop--no terrorists in this bunch--just the best shots!  You will have to pardon me if I think that all this federal assurance is BF (bovine fertilizer). This regime has lied to us so often about so much why should we believe anything they tell us. All I can say is that their "transparency" is slipping just a bit like their halos.

I recently read an article by Shawn Meyer, a small-town pastor in the Midwest. He had some comments worth considering, especially for Christians who are tempted to buy just anything the government tells them because, after all "your government wouldn't lie to you." Pastor Meyer noted that: "For most of our history, Christianity was embraced by men and women who applied wisdom to love.  They were realists who understood the world in which they lived and naturally processed events  in light of the ideologies that drove them. Christianity wasn't a philosophical refuge to spiritual utopians...'Turning the other cheek, doing unto others, and loving your enemies'  represented general principles for personal relationships. Applying a hermeneutic of common sense and with Jesus' intentions in mind, these principles were understood to have little or nothing to do with foreign policy or national security." Such understanding seems almost totally lacking today in many instances, especially in the Church.

Pastor Meyer noted that Christians want to help those who are truly in need and that we should have a place in our hearts for refugees, especially for the women and children and he stated that the question isn't  whether we should help but how.  And he asked, as he should, "How do we distinguish between real refugees and ISIS operatives posing as refugees? How do we help some without jeopardizing others? I submit the administration's current policy is highly dubious and, while apparently loving toward those claiming to be refugees, will, WILL result in the deaths of innocent American men, women, and children. A staff person for my Senator assured me this week 'the Senator supports measures to vet all refugees prior to accepting them'." Most Christians in our lack-of-discernment day would buy that and not even think to go any further. Pastor Meyer, wisely, didn't buy it.  He said: "I couldn't hide my contempt for such naivet'e. Assad isn't giving us their background files. There are millions of Mohammedans in Syria. All mention of vetting is pure stupidity. We are talking about the same people who renewed the visas  of the 9/11 hijackers months after the attacks. There is no way to vet these people." Interestingly, in a moment of candor, the person Pastor Meyer talked to on the phone, admitted that. But the regime will go through the motions anyway because that will fool and bemuse most of the public--Christians who should know better included.

Pastor Meyer made several other cogent comments but I can't cover them all here. And to conclude his comments he said: "To acquiesce to Islam and welcome their Trojan horses into our streets is not only the opposite of wisdom, it is truly the opposite of love. It is to increase their confidence in a damning theology. It is to harden them in their ways. If we set aside sentimentalism and apply wisdom to love, we can help those in genuine need while protecting our children and our homeland.  Pastor Meyer's commentary appeared on http://clashdaily.com 

I have no doubt that the current regime doesn't want the public to consider any of this--just open the flood gates and let the refugees (and the terrorists) come streaming in, and if there ends up being so many of them that our culture becomes more Muslim than Christian, well, ain't that a pity?  But, then, isn't that the real name of the game?

In the Old Testament, Israel was enjoined to welcome foreigners and not to oppress them.In return those foreigners were to do something that is a dirty word today--ASSIMILATE!  They were to live, as long as they were in Israel, by Israel's laws (no Sharia law in Israel) and they were not to bring in and set up their pagan temples. If they were uncomfortable with Israel's law system they needed to move on.  Coming into someone else's country and expecting them to embrace your culture, and getting :offended" if they won't was, and is, an act of supreme ingratitude and quite frankly, in this country today, we should refuse to put up with it. I realize that the unwritten law in this country today is "everyone gets a free pass except white Christians"  and some of us white Christians are getting just a might fed up with it. Helping those truly in need is one thing. Surrendering your faith and culture so the terrorists won't be "offended" isn't part of the game.
